Dive Cruise: Discovering the Treasures of the Red Sea

Starting Point: Port Ghalib Marina
Your adventure begins at Port Ghalib Marina, located just 2 hours (165 km) south of Hurghada Airport. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our team and board our comfortable, fully-equipped boat, ready to take you to the underwater gems of the Red Sea.

First Stop: Abu Dabab Reef
Before heading to St. John’s Reef, we’ll make a stop at Abu Dabab, an ideal site for a check dive or a night dive at the end of the cruise. This reef is home to a fascinating small wreck teeming with marine life, where tropical fish, crustaceans, and colorful corals will give you a taste of the wonders to come.

St. John’s Reef: An Exceptional Underwater World
St. John’s Reef, a massive reef spanning 21 km by 13 km, lies beneath the Berenice Peninsula and crosses the Tropic of Cancer. Accessible only by cruise or mini-safari, this site is a true paradise for divers. Its “Abili” (reefs rising toward the surface from plateaus at depths of 60 to 80 meters) offer spectacular underwater landscapes.

The drop-offs covered in gorgonians and black coral attract large pelagic species: gray sharks, whitetips, threshers, and even hammerheads. Manta rays, Napoleon wrasses, and groupers will treat you to an unforgettable aquatic ballet. On the plateaus, under the sunlight, multicolored corals and tropical fish will create a mesmerizing display of colors at every turn.

Shaab Sataya: The Dolphin Reef
On the way back from St. John’s Reef, we’ll pass the tip of Ras Banas Peninsula, which borders the Gulf of the ancient port of Berenice. We’ll make an overnight stop at Shaab Sataya, also known as Dolphin Reef, famous for its many dolphins. Once known for its Roman ruins, this site is now a magical place where you can observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Shaab Claudio: A Maze of Caves
Shaab Claudio is a unique site, featuring a labyrinth of caves with large openings that offer breathtaking underwater scenery. Easy to explore, these caves have become famous for their spectacular coral formations and mesmerizing natural light displays.

Elphinstone: The Grand Finale
We’ll end this cruise in style with unforgettable dives at Elphinstone, a reef renowned for encounters with oceanic whitetip sharks. For divers certified to 55 meters, exploring Elphinstone’s arch will be an unforgettable experience, crowning a week filled with excitement.
